In June of this year it was twenty years since I set up my first web server for delivering e-learning courses. It’s no wonder there is no widespread adoption of e-learning and edtech across the institution. And the everything else bit is rated much higher in terms of career progression. So my position has changed completely. .-

There are eight conference strands covering a wide variety of timely topics, such as MOOCs, e-books, maker spaces, mobile services, embedded librarians, green libraries, doctoral student research, library and information center "tours," and more! We have 146 accepted conference sessions and ten keynote addresses.

Freedman: I love where you started with the criticism of the MOOCs. I mean, MOOCs aren’t learning platforms, they’re distribution platforms. They’re guided in that process with a coach who’s there to keep them accountable, connect them to resources and mentors as they go through that process so they’re aware of their own development.
