The Maker Movement has helped spur renewed interest in hands-on learning and the value of spaces where children can explore their own ideas, be creative, and tinker. One boy came in late and had missed some of the tool training, but was nevertheless using tools quickly. One facilitator kept describing his actions as “dangerous.”
