For those who don''t know, Edcamp is a great series of free, unconferences for educators. The Edcamp model is unique in that attendees set the agenda the morning of the conference and the sessions are not led by one person, but are rather a collaboration of both the facilitator and attendees. I highly recommend Edcamps!

Clicking with Cliques at Conferences #Flipcon15 #ISTE2015 #ECET2

I would not recommend STARTING to form a Professional Learning Network when attending a conference for the first time. I did not learn about ISTE, ECET2, or Flipcon from an advertisement online or in a mailer. Having an insatiable hunger to learn, I first dove into the professional education pool through Twitter.
