Just remember, there are effective ways to not only assess but provide automated and rapid feedback to students so that assessment becomes a teaching tool in itself. One of my favorite uses of Google Drawings is to use them for manipulatives – and if you’re a middle or high school teacher and think manipulatives are mainly for elementary students, please hang with me. . Google Drawings is hands-down the reason I am able to successfully have my students complete our school-wide required word sorts.
