My own interest in the Maker Movement offered the perfect inspiration, and so with financial help from both our PTA and DonorsChoose , as well as some creative dumpster-diving, the Maker Lab was born. Next year, I will introduce the kids to soldering and 3-D design and printing, thanks to my classroom MakerBot.
