'As I work to constantly improve my keynote on Digital Leadership, I am always looking for ideas to strengthen the reasons why leaders need to change while updating the specific ways to illustrate how it can be done. For me, I strive to convey the urgency for schools, leaders, and educators to change so that students do not experience a total disconnect when entering a building that is supposedly going to educate them for success in a digital world.

'The Flipped Classroom is a fairly new strategy that flips traditional classroom teaching to offer a more student centered approach. A flipped classroom is a teaching strategy that uses technology to record a teacher''s lesson, and have students watch the lecture at home as opposed to the teacher lecturing in class. 'Document cameras save lives. Ok, this might be an overstatement, but when I think about the tech my teachers used when I was in school to to show a book to the whole class, it rings true. Mrs Arthur in 2nd grade would roll in the opaque projector, a noisy and hot behemoth that resembled a sinister character in Dr. Who. What I remember most is that we could not use it for too long because the book inside the projector could catch fire.
