On one of these towers, the Albemarle County schools have hung base stations that link to broadband internet beamed up from the roof of a nearby elementary school. The hardware on the towers then blasts that connection about 10 miles into the valley below. We can extend the learning day. We can flip the classroom. It just wouldn’t be fair.”.
