Looking for a Class Robot? Try Robo Wunderkind

Ask a Tech Teacher

There are a lot of options if you want to bring programmable robots to your classroom. It is a build-a-robot kit designed to introduce children ages six and up to coding and robotics as well as the fun of problem-solving and creative thinking. The robot starts in about thirty pieces (there are so many, I didn’t really count them). You don’t use all of them in one robot, just pick those that will make your robot do what you want.

Why Robotics Benefits Early Education

EdNews Daily

One of these new developments is the increased use of robots in everyday life––from vending machines to your automatic vacuum cleaner, all the way through to artificial intelligence and heavy machinery. But the field of robotics has more benefits for children than just teaching them about robots. . My blog , a part of the Robo Wunderkind educational platform, focuses on the value that robotics and programming––two fundamental areas of STEM––bring to early education.

Three key trends in robotics education

eSchool News

Robots are hugely popular with kids. Four of the 20 best-selling toys on Amazon during the 2018 holiday season were robots, robotics kits, or other electronic circuitry kits. So it’s not surprising that K-12 educators would turn to robotics as a way to get students excited about science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) education. Why is the K-12 robotics market exploding? Related Content: eSchool News Robotics Guide.
