When the Internet arrived, I — as did my colleagues — adopted it mostly for two reasons: 1) research — in place of the library, and 2) rote drills, such as supporting math practice. Using the Internet in classrooms has morphed from optional to organic. Digital books are aligned with state standards and Common Core.

This wide variety of games and assessments allow for differentiation in learning styles and is helpful for children who do better with alternative methods. Grammaropolis is aligned with both national Common Core standards and Texas Expected Knowledge and Skills Objectives for grades K-6. The Talking Library is wonderful.
